Empire Fibreglass Products, Inc. has been protecting the industry from chemical spills for many years. We began covering floors, troughs and trenches in plating rooms and process areas over 35 years ago. Our experience in covering both old and new concrete with protective layers of corrosion resistant fiberglass is second to none. We work with the customer in choosing the correct resin system based on the potential spill or waste stream. Having a new FRP coating placed over a new or existing floor can help with secondary containment problems. We will be happy to put our team of experienced personnel to work for you.
FRP non-skid corrosion resistant covering over an existing concrete floor in a process area. Troughs and walls were also covered to make an effective FRP containment area (Left).
Trench which directed flow in a process chemical run-off was covered with 0.167" tk. FRP. The top recess of the trench was retained so that an FRP Non-Skid Grating could be safely placed over the opening (Left).
