Molded Fiberglass Grating

Empire Fibreglass Products, Inc. is a distributor of Strongwell grating and pultruded shapes. DURAGRATE® molded fiberglass grating is corrosion- resistant , fire retandant, impact resistant, and provides high, maintenance-free performance. It is a strong mesh grating that is molded in one piece and features a concave or grit top non-slip walking surface. The panels allow efficient on-site cutting that minimizes grating waste and load bearing bars in both directions allow for use without continuous side supports.

At Empire Fiberglass we have used DURAGRATE® grating in a variety of applications, from chemical tanks and factory floors to water rides at theme parks.

DURADECK® is a standard pultruded grating used in many applications at Empire Fibreglass Products, Inc. It is available with individual bearing bars in an “I” or “T” shape. DURADECK is constructed using a flame retardant polyester or vinyl ester resin and is corrosion-resistant.

DURAGRID® custom grid or grating systems are designed to accommodate more difficult applications that a regular pultruded or molding grating could not handle. Using DURAGRID®, the customer has the freedom to choose the selection of open space, the bar shape and the rod placement, as well as the properties it should contain for appropriate resin selection, and color.
